I had some issues with this course because I did not know how to setup a testing server. I would agree with some of the others here - you should take the prerequisites before jumping into this course. Even if you have a bit of experience with mysql, you still need to know how to setup wamp and lamp stack on a virtual server in order for mysql to work! I hadn?t done that before and it through me off. The instructors are extremely helpful and respond to questions within minutes.
This was a great class. The information was very easy to understand and I will definitely continue with the other parts of the masterclass series.
The course is very fun and motivating. It will definitely get you up and running with mysql and php. I had a bit of prior knowledge working as a web developer which helped. If you are a beginner I would recommend taking the other parts of the course where they teach you how to install wamp/mamp. If you take this course without the pre-requisites you will get stuck!

Great course for beginners. The lessons all come with sample data sets which makes learning much easier. The instructor is also very helpful in case you have issues understanding the material. The explanations are thorough and I really enjoyed the training.
This course needs more examples so we can try on our own. It was a good introduction and they do cover all the concepts, but for a beginner it?s hard to put it all together without some real-world demonstrations. I would recommend this course if you plan on taking more advanced courses afterwards. Most employers would require you to have much more knowledge than what is taught here.

This is a great introduction into MySQL. I have been trying to understand how to connect and manage records through php for quite some time. Took a bunch of courses but it wasn?t sinking in. The instructor makes learning very easy. The lessons include real demonstrations so all you have to do is follow along! Some courses focus to much on theory. I found these courses to be a great balance between theory and and practical hands-on exercises.
